About Aaron

Aaron Nakamura

Known for his community leadership in coordinating large groups and events, Aaron Nakamura is also most known for his motivational and inspirational public speaking ability, speaking at an array of venues and events from Christian church rallies to personal and professional development events for communities both local and abroad.

From 2009 to 2016, Aaron was a member of the leadership team that coordinates and organizes the annual Ultimate Workout, an annual mission and community project for high school students organized by Maranatha Volunteers International that takes place in Latin, Central, and South American countries every July. Serving and leading as one of the project coordinators, pastors and worship leaders that play a vital part in the project's success, Aaron has demonstrated to many that he is more than proficient in communication, leadership, and organization.

After the Divine calling at just 15 years of age, Aaron was ordained as the youngest Elder in the southern California Conference of the Christian Seventh-day Adventist Church. From leading young peers at his local church and high school of over 4,000, to organizing youth events for numerous churches and entire communities throughout southern California, Aaron's passion for ministry, community outreach, and helping others experience the love of Jesus first-hand is always what it is about.

Being invited to speak at numerous churches and events for young people, leaders, and communities, Aaron became fascinated with the craft and development of public speaking. After joining and getting involved with Toastmasters International, a prominent world-wide organization that focuses on leadership and communication, on July 1st, 2013, Aaron was elected the youngest president of the Words of Hope Toastmasters International organization at the City of Hope National Cancer Research Hospital in Duarte, California.

The organization, still existing today, seeks to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills that empowers them to become more confident and professionally equipped out in the real world.

Then, a step up, in June of 2014, Aaron accepted the position as the youngest Area H-2 Director for the Founder's District of Toastmasters International, which oversees numerous chapters of the organization around the San Gabriel Valley in southern California.

After successfully completing his one-year term, Aaron accepted the call to move to Days Creek, Oregon where he is currently serving as the youngest Vice Principal for Finance at Milo Adventist Boarding Academy, a secondary boarding Christian school where he continues along with his passion to introduce young people to Jesus.

Combined with his passion for ministry and that of helping others, one of Aaron's other passions is being an entrepreneur. In August 2016, Aaron founded Tasty Teas LLC based out of Roseburg, Oregon. The laid-back and relaxed Asian-American fusion beverage establishment focuses on specialty teas, sandwiches and other Asian-American dishes.

Christianity & Religious Passions

An active member and leader in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Aaron took up the call at just 15 years of age to be the youngest ordained elder---a position with responsibility for nurturing the spiritual life of the church---in the southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His passion for youth & young adult ministry started with his own struggles with understanding the reason behind his attendance at church.
